The 2026 Chevrolet Equinox EV is ready to change how Troy drivers think about electric SUVs. This electric vehicle puts out 220 horsepower and comes in two drivetrain options. You can choose front-wheel drive (FWD) for up to 319 miles of range, or go with all-wheel drive (AWD) for better traction and 288 miles of range.
The battery system is a big part of what makes this SUV so capable. It holds 97.4 kWh of energy and can charge at speeds up to 150 kW via DC fast charging. The AWD model uses two electric motors working together, while the FWD model runs on a single motor. Both versions use regenerative braking to help capture energy when you slow down, which helps extend your driving range in Missouri.
